Magic is an art-form with a rich and extraordinary history — and in this hands-on workshop, one of its most distinctive practitioners invites you inside it.
Neil Kelso is a Member of the Magic Circle whose unusual illusions have taken him from luxury trains and ocean liners to the grandest stages of the West End, television, and beyond. What makes Neil’s approach unique is where it comes from — classical music training, a lifelong love of storytelling, and a deep fascination with why magic moves us the way it does.
In this interactive session, Neil will share new illusions from his current project “Sounds Impossible”, as well as fascinating glimpses into the untold history of the art-form, and the thinking behind how he creates his work. You’ll leave with a couple of beautifully baffling party tricks of your own- and some new magical perspectives to inspire your creative adventures.
