Bijou Stories are now beginning to get things ship shape ready for their maiden voyage on board The Good Pirate. As well as workshops and activities at the National Maritime Museum we are going to be collaborating with Meet Me at the Albany for four sessions during the summer. Our sessions are open to all, with a focus on members of the LGBTQ+ community over 55. We will be running workshops that will help participants create performances to be performed in two unique shows celebrating LGBTQ+ history through music, monologues and moments of piratical fancy.
We are delighted to have been invited to join Meet Me at the Albany, the social arts group for those over 65 based at the Albany in Deptford. For more information check out www.thealbany.org.uk/get-involved/meet-me
