This year marks the 50th anniversary of Gay Sweatshop, a pioneering theatre company that broke new ground in queer theatre. To celebrate this milestone, we will host a reading of Mister X by Drew Griffiths and Roger Baker, originally performed in 1975 and revisited in 1985 as part of Give Us A Play in at the ICA
Also, as part of the event, Gavin Barlow, outgoing Creative Director/CEO of The Albany, and Paul Green from Bijou Stories will discuss the impact of The Albany and the local area on the company.
The event is taking place at Deptford Lounge on Saturday 22 Feb at 1.30pm – 4.30pm.
Tickets are FREE but you do need to book in advance from https://www.outsavvy.com/event/24869/give-us-a-play
